Our funding
Arts About Manchester is a not for profit organisation.
Our income is made up from membership fees, project funding, core funding and commercial trading. Any surplus income is invested back into improving our services and furthering our audience development work.
We are grateful to our members and funders for ongoing annual support.
A small proportion of our annual income is core funding, which we currently receive from the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities(AGMA) and The Arts Council of England (Central and North West).
AGMA
AGMA acts as the voice of the ten local authorities of Greater Manchester and works in partnership with a wide range of organisations both private, public and voluntary within the city-region and beyond.
AGMA Chief Executives and Council Leaders meet regularly to work together on a range of key strategic and policy issues which impact on Greater Manchester. AGMA also provide a range of joint services across the conurbation via AGMA Units and through cross authority professional groups.
