Chinese Arts Centre is the international development agency for contemporary Chinese artists. Based in Manchester, the organisation works internationally to stimulate, support and promote this exciting sector. Chinese Arts Centre is a seeking a dynamic CEO to take the organisation forward. This varied and challenging role involves managing the organisation, seeking out and securing funding and working as an advocate for both the Centre and the artists we serve. A passion for the arts and a commitment to the sector is essential, as is the ability to communicate and enthuse others about it. The role involves travel, both in the UK and internationally. Candidates will have excellent leadership, negotiation and management skills and be prepared to sometimes work beyond the standard nine to five.
