The post holder will work closely with the Head of Exhibitions to assist in the development of an innovative and engaging programme of special exhibitions for IWM North. You will be expected to project manage all special exhibitions from initial concept through to design, delivery and installation by working collaboratively with colleagues across the five branches of IWM, and with contractors, lenders and other institutions.
To be considered for this post, you will be educated to degree level as well as having a proven ability in a similar role, with a consistent track record of success in exhibitions and interpretation. You should also be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of best practice in collections management.Highly creative and self motivated, you will be able to work independently with minimum supervision and be able to manage projects and deadlines effectively. Resilient, energetic and enthusiastic, you will work well under pressure and excel at finding practical solutions to problems.
