The Whitworth Art Gallery, The University of Manchester

Fixed term freelance position. The fee is £9,000 and equates to 1.5 days per week @ £250 per day from September 2008 – March 2009.

You will be based in the Learning and Interpretation Team at the Whitworth Art Gallery. You will manage and oversee the programme aimed at initial primary teacher trainees outlining how museums and galleries can be used for curriculum enrichment and delivery. You will work closely with ITT providers and museum and gallery staff across the region to ensure effective delivery of the training sessions across the hub. In addition to this, you will continue to deliver and develop initial teacher training provision at the Whitworth and undertake wide-reaching advocacy for the programme.
