Call for Artists
Following the success of last year’s ‘twilight happening’ Chester Performs is looking for artists to take part in this year’s Up the Wall, which will take place Thursday 2nd – Saturday 4th October between 7pm and 10pm in Chester.
Up the Wall is a glorified mass promenade along an area of the city walls, one of Chester’s most famous features. This year Chester Performs has teamed up with the Cathedral and plans to include this fantastic building within the route.
Promenaders will be treated to an extreme range of the exciting, unusual and bizarre.
Chester Performs is looking for artists to take part by contributing personal and relevant work to the route either through existing work or site specific installations.
We would like to hear expressions of interest from artists who specialise in:
• New Media/digital installation
• Sound installation
• Installation art
• Live art
