Marketing and Media Manager
FutureEverything is looking for a dynamic, experienced and creative communications professional, with significant achievements across the cultural and or/corporate sector. This new senior position, intended to make a major contribution to raising the company's media profile, is responsible for developing and implementing effective internal and external communications strategies for our programme. For the Futuresonic festival you will work with our Artistic Director and Producer to deliver a strategic marketing strategy for our ground breaking international programme of diverse art projects and exhibitions including new commissions and world premieres, workshops, and social and participatory artworks in unexpected city spaces. You will also be responsible for promoting our conference and music strand. You will have an understanding of digital media art and the visual and performing arts. You will have experience developing a marketing strategy, delivering a press, PR and communications' strategy, copy writing, developing advertising, print and display campaigns. You will also have an excellent understanding of on-line marketing including e-commerce, blogging and raising the profile of an organisation across all web 2.0 platforms. You will have experience in sales marketing and implementing marketing research and evaluating the results. You will have excellent writing and communication skills and strong press and broadcast media contacts. You will have experience copy writing and writing proposals with attention to detail, and responding to a conceptual brief alongside rigorous budget control experience. You will also have excellent design skills and be used to working with design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Freehand.

FutureEverything is looking for a Marketing Intern to work across a series of year round projects including the Futuresonic Festival. This six - twelve month internship offers a valuable opportunity for a recent graduate keen to pursue a career in arts marketing. Working within a busy festival environment the successful candidate will support the work of the Producer and Marketing Manager in developing an online strategy and presence (including blogging), generating regular press releases and communications, and developing databases amongst many other essential marketing tasks. A keen interest in, and eye for, design is essential and a knowledge of digital art and music is preferred. The internship is unpaid however a travel and subsistence allowance will be available. ------------------------------------------------------------- Administration Assistant
FutureEverything is looking for an organised, experienced and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to work with the General Manager to undertake significant admin duties in the day to day operations of running a company and festival. For FutureEverything and Futuresonic you will work with our Artistic Director and General Manager to support the administration of our ground breaking international programme of diverse art projects and exhibitions including new commissions and world premieres, workshops, and social and participatory artworks in unexpected city spaces. You will also be responsible for supporting the administration of the company. You will have an understanding of digital media art, visual arts, music, the performing arts, and digital culture. You will have experience in company administration including financial management and be experienced at managing petty cash and working to Sage Line 50 accounting systems. You will act as personal assistant to the Artistic Director, managing his diary as the main point of contact for appointments. You will also work with the General Manager undertaking standard administration tasks including filing, ordering and client hospitality. You will be extremely well organised and responsible for taking telephone calls and rerouting them amongst the team. You will be responsible for the organisation of the office. You will also undertake administrative duties as part of the festival operations. You will have experience and an interest in the web including content management of the company website and be an active blogger on social networking sites. You will also have excellent writing skills and a keen interest in design and presentation will be an advantage.
