Marketing Services Co-ordinator

I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a Masters degree in English Literature in October 2006. Since then I have been gaining as much work experience (both paid and unpaid!) in the arts world as possible. I volunteered for several months in the Marketing Department of the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield. I then went on to complete a three month Marketing Internship at the Coliseum Theatre in Oldham, where I was responsible for establishing a Friends of the Coliseum membership scheme. In June 2007 I was fortunate enough to gain a position at Arts About Manchester as a Marketing and Audience Development Assistant.

As Audience Development Assistant I was involved in two key projects – In Touch (improving access to the arts for disabled people) and Revealing Histories: Remembering Slavery

In my current role as Marketing Services Co-ordinator I  primarily support Adam with our print distribution service. I am also responsible for organising any hand to hand distribution, stalls and special events, and managing the team's finance and administration systems.
