Marketing Services Assistant

After graduating from The University of Birmingham with a BA(hons) in English in July 2006 I divided my time between a series of slightly soul destroying temp jobs and some voluntary work placements in the arts. After gaining some experience at KinoFilm, I was lucky enough to get a three week placement at AAM working on the 2007 Family Friendly Film Festival. This three week placement turned into a summer of volunteer work and I haven’t really left AAM since!

In September 2007 I was offered at part time position as the Family Friendly Assistant to provide support for the Family Friendly projects and to work on AAM’s public facing websites, whilst also volunteering for Noise Festival one day a week. In June 2008, I began working full time as AAM's Online Marketing Assistant to work on the Family Friendly, Family Friendly Merseyside and ArtsList websites.  I also worked on the 2008 Family Friendly Film Festival.

Since then I have become Marketing Services Assistant and am now the best person to contact about any and all e-services, from e-newsletters and broadcasts, to website listings and subscriptions.
